Third place award winning photograph in the LCCHA Photo Contest.
I have been wanting to expand my personal photography from focusing solely on aviation. To that end, I joined the Photo Arts Club of Toledo (PACT). Through PACT, I learned about the LCCHA’s cemetery photography contest.
I used my DJI mini 3 pro UAS to capture a winning photo. The photo was taken in the Springtime with the flowers just starting to appear on the trees. I strolled through the Resurrection Cemetery and documented a few of the areas, statutes, and headstones as well.
Since winning the award, I have taken more photos at Resurrection Cemetery and plan to work with the LCCHA to document Lucas County cemeteries in an artistic way. On a recent visit, I used a Soviet era Lubitel 166B medium format camera with Lomography Purple film shot at ISO 200. The film changes greens to purples and vice versa. I think it is a great effect.
