Perched above Amalfi and Ravello on Italy’s coastline, Torre dello Ziro is a 15th-century watchtower reached by a steep hike through pine woods and terraced hillsides. The payoff is one of the best panoramic views on the whole coast, with Ravello, Atrani, and the Bay of Salerno all laid out below.
I thought I was going for a nice watch but discounted the amount of stairs that I’d have to climb to get there. It was a beautiful walk. I looked down upon the church from Equalizer 3 too. It’s neat watching that movie and seeing where I was.
